FUTURE ACTIVITIES / PROJECTS FOR 2009/2010
OIF PROGRAMMES
1. COMPREHENSIVE VOCATIONAL SKILL TRAINING:
This Programme is designed to train and equip school certificate holders (SSCE / WASC / GCE) between ages of 18-25 in different skill acquisitions. The youths who successfully completed their secondary education but due to one problem or the other could not further their education to the university level. The skills available include the following:
" Computer training * Electrical installation & Auto -Electricians
" Auto Mechanics * Motorcycle Mechanics * Barbing Saloon
" Hair Dressing Saloon * Fashion Designing/Tailoring * Welding
" Printing Technology /Lithographic * Design & Graphics
" Carpentry & Joinery * Aluminum Doors /Windows / GMP
" Interior Decoration * Vulcanizing
The Programme is composed of:
" Six months to two years intensive skill acquisition training
" One year mentoring Programme
" Technical Support Programme * Micro-credit support scheme.
2. ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMME
This is designed to equip graduates between the ages of 22 - 35 with the skills, tools, networks and financing required to establish a successful business of their own.
The Programme is composed of:
"Six months Entrepreneurship training comprising of 24 classes.
"One year mentoring Programme
"One year Consultancy service * Micro-credit support scheme

- Skill Acquisition Project
- Your Football Empowerment programme: Sponsor first and second team to Europe for a two weeks training tour in England and Italy
- HIV/AIDS campaign: Poster, Radio Jingles, Rural Campaign
- Child Care Trust: Child De-Worming Project
- Campaign on: Child Abuse, Use of Harmful Drug & Cultism
- Adult Traditional Inter-Street Games Participation
- Micro - Credit scheme for successful graduates of the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme
Christmas Party for, Motherless Babies Homes, Old People's Homes & Disabled Peoples Home within Coker/Aguda and Surulere environment.
